Comment Policy

I welcome your comments and feedback!

I use the Disqus comment system. You do not need a Disqus account to leave a comment, though I have found the user-experience with Disqus to be quite nice (as someone who comments on many sites around the Web). Establishing an account is a great way to comment, be notified, etc. on a lot of sites that use Disqus.

If you click the ‘Name’ field, you will see more options including the ability to post as a guest. (However, if you post as a ‘guest’ you will NOT be notified of responses or updates!)

To keep things civil (and more secure) this blog is moderated. When you leave a comment, it won’t show up until approved (so don’t be alarmed). The idea here isn’t censorship, but to keep the place civil and secure. You’ll be notified of responses to the post you commented on via Disqus.

If you are unable to control yourself, your post might not make it to the site or will be edited to properly fit a general audience. I won’t change your point, argument, or objection, but will delete inappropriate language or undue hostility. The other thing that will get you in trouble, eventually, is if it becomes clear you are saying the same thing over and over and not engaging our responses or the comments of others.

Carry on… thanks for reading… and hopefully joining in the conversation.
